12 Days of Filipino Christmas
Mikey Bustos is a Filipino born-Canadian singer who has appeared on the reality television show Canadian Idol. He composed his new version of 12 days of Filipino Christmas. Instead of using the original lyrics, he used all common Filipino terms in his song.
On the 1st day of Christmas my mahal gave to me
A beki in a jeepney
On the 2nd day of Christmas my mahal gave to me
Two carabao
and a beki in a jeepney
On the 3rd day of Christmas my mahal gave to me
Three parol
Two carabao
and a beki in a jeepney
On the 4th day of Christmas my mahal gave to me
Four balot eggs
Three parol
Two carabao
and a beki in a jeepney
On the 5th day of Christmas my mahal gave to me
Five redhorse drinks
Four balot eggs
Three parol
Two carabao
and a beki in a jeepney
Continue until you get the 12th day of Filipino Christmas.
